Not long after Diddy is ushered off camera, he reappears, but this time with his wrists locked in handcuffs. He is then walked to an elevator before being escorted out of the hotel’s front door – right by NYC pedestrians.
TMZ reports that Diddy was prepared to turn himself in to federal agents on Tuesday, but for whatever reason authorities decided to make the arrest on Monday instead.
Diddy has since been denied bail twice. He’s been charged with racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion, and transportation to engage in prostitution. In addition to the criminal charges, Diddy is also battling several civil suits from former alleged domestic abuse victims as well.
If Diddy is found guilty on all criminal charges he faces a minimum of 15 years in prison.
The maximum time Diddy faces if convicted is a life sentence.
