Love it or hate it, the highly anticipated bout between YouTuber-turned-fighter Jake Paul and retired boxing icon Mike Tyson broke viewing records this past weekend on Netflix, drawing in more than 60 million households around the globe.
Held at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, the matchup was a massive payday for both men, with Paul taking home about $40 million and $20 million for Tyson.
Despite may viewers claiming the actual fight was nowhere near the pre-match hype, even celebs couldn’t stay away, as several made their way to The Lone Star State to be a part of one of the most anticipated streaming events of 2024.
Next up for Netflix? On December 25th, Baddie Bey is reppin’ H-Town for a very special holiday event. On Christmas Day, the Houston Texans will face off against the Baltimore Ravens and the halftime show will feature Beyoncé as part of a special Netflix Live event.
The trailer for Bey’s upcoming Holiday Halftime Show landed online Sunday (November 17).
Until then, check out pics of celebs who came out to see Paul vs Tyson.
