Mike Tyson slapped the snot out of Jake Paul at the weigh-in last night, but it looks like there’s a good reason why he did it.
Tyson set the internet on fire yesterday after a video circulated of him rearing back and slapping Paul in the face. After the slap, Tyson immediately dropped into a fighter’s stance while Paul tried to gather his dignity.
By the way, Tyson weighed in at 233 pounds, while Paul notched a career-high weight of 220.

Initially, the slap seemed to be unwarranted. Some speculated that it was all a publicity stunt. Paul is considered to be a mastermind in the world of marketing and this type of spectacle would be on brand.
But Tyson says that wasn’t the reason at all. According to him, Jake Paul purposefully stepped on Tyson’s toe as the two approached each other. Iron Mike was wearing socks, and moments after the melee he told The Post that he believes Paul may have stepped on his foot purposely.
Paul responded moments after the slap, “He hits like a b*tch … He must die.”
Whether you believe this all to be concocted for ratings – or these two genuinely hate each other – tonight’s fight on Netflix should be one for the ages!
Mike Tyson has a career record of 50-6, with 44 of his wins coming by knockout. Paul, the Youtuber-turned-boxer, has a record of 10-1, winning 7 of his bouts by knockout.
The fight will take place on Friday, Nov. 15th on Netflix.
