It’s been a little over two years since the tragic death of PnB Rock and the man accused of sending his 17-year-old son to kill him at a Roscoe’s Chicken & Waffles restaurant in South Los Angeles was sentenced to over 31 years to life in prison.
However, exclusive video obtained by True Crime News sheds light on the Philadelphia native’s last moments.
Before he was killed, the rapper was sitting at a table with his girlfriend who had already posted a picture of their food and their location on Instagram. Many speculated the post was the reason for his slaying, but new video refutes those allegations.
According to the host of True Crime News Ana Garcia, the rapper born Rakim Allen, stood no chance as the robbery unfolded.
“That video clearly shows that PnB Rock, Rakim Allen, never stood a chance. The shooter came in, put the gun up, asked for the jewels, and within seconds, he was already shot,” Garcia explained during an interview with CBS Philly. “So the opportunity to hand over the half a million dollars on jewelry wasn’t even there,” she continued.
Additionally, Garcia adds that the setup began the moment he walked into the restaurant. She stated that the food was delayed more than 40 minutes in an attempt to rob him.
