The Girl Scouts of the USA (GSA) is one of the largest scouting organizations and one of the largest youth organizations in the United States. Founded in Savannah, GA on March 12, 1912, GSA currently has over 176,000 female participants. the organization offers life-guidance and mentorship to instill core values into kids and young adults. From joining a troop to spending a week at summer camp, Girl Scouts have the chance to meet others from their neighborhood, community, and nearby schools. They may even meet local leaders during a service project!
The Girl Scouts of the USA have been a permanent ‘coming of age; fixture in American culture, leaving boys (as well as girls) with lifetime experiences, life lessons, and even friends.
