Walmart has the people talking and it’s all because of their new logo! Walmart released their new “comprehensive brand refresh” which includes a brand new facelift to their logo making it brighter and more noticeable.
According to the press release, the updated branding will “better represent who Walmart is today.” In addition Walmart says it has been brought the logo to life with a “modern, custom font that differentiates Walmart from the crowd, and exudes the energy of Walmart”. While the logo didn’t have a huge facelift, it does feature a thicker font, deeper blue background and a brighter yellow spark icon.
Walmart said it will begin applying the refreshed branding across various channels and customer touchpoints, including its website, app, and stores, in January 2025.
Many fans joked that Walmart just added some lotion to their logo, while others said it looks the exact same.
