Donald Trump Is Destroying America As Democrats Post On Social Media

For months before Donald Trump took office, Democrats had the president’s playbook. 

That’s not hyperbole; they had a copy of Project 2025, the dossier written by a bunch of the president’s former staffers and the Heritage Foundation. We all did; project 2025 was leaked online.  

As Donald Trump campaigned, Democrats used warnings based on Project 2025 doctrine to convince voters not to re-elect the former president. Trump even tried to distance himself from Project 2025, claiming at one point that he hadn’t read it and had no intention of following it. 

And everyone knew that was a lie. Project 2025 and Donald Trump’s own “Agenda47” are nearly identical.

Project 2025 was so dangerous that during the 2024 BET Awards, actress Taraji P. Henson warned America in an impromptu speech that the doctrine was very real and to get out and vote because “The Project 2025 plan is not a game. Look it up,” she said. 

Donald Trump took office, and just a few months into his presidency, he hasn’t just implemented Project 2025, he’s executed almost half of it. Democrats haven’t done one thing to stop him. Like an Orange Thanos, Trump has run roughshod over Democracy, and Democrats are infighting and arguing with themselves, and times just keep getting rougher.

To date, Trump and his merciless band of groupies have ended USAID, the leading international humanitarian foundation. They’ve gutted the Department of Education. He’s fired 17 independent inspectors general at multiple government agencies, who he will most assuredly replace with Trump loyalists. 

He’s withheld federal funding from universities until they bend the knee. And he’s deporting anyone he wants despite federal judges’ orders for him to stop. Oh, and he appointed a billionaire tyrant as the second-in-command despite said billionaire tyrant never going before a congressional panel to determine if he’s fit to be this close to the president. 

And so far, Democrats have done…wait, let me check as I have a lot of news clippings across my desk, and I’m sure there is something I’m missing…social media posts.

Seriously, the one chance Democrats had to try and stop Donald Trump’s agenda, the one opportunity to try and stall the destruction of democracy — and sure it would’ve led to a government shutdown, but it would’ve been Democrats’ first effort against a tyrannical administration hellbent on returning America back to the Cold War-era — 10 Democrats acquiesced to the president’s demands and in turn, sold America down the river.

But what’s troubling about Democrats’ nonresponse to Trump’s administration has to be the fact that they and the rest of America knew this was coming, and not only do they seem to have no plan at all, but they don’t even seem to be able to coexist. News of Democrat infighting has been rampant, and there doesn’t seem to be a uniform plan to combat the dictator in office when you had the playbook months before the Trump administration took office. 

Donald Trump has removed people of color and the LGBTQ+ community and their achievements from all government language. He put himself on the board of the Kennedy Center. He’s currently demanding that the Smithsonian undo a “concerted and widespread effort to rewrite our Nation’s history,” which the White House claims makes the United States look to be “racist, sexist, oppressive, or otherwise irredeemably flawed.” 

Donald Trump has a problem with the truth, and the truth is and has always been that America is a “racist, sexist, oppressive and otherwise irredeemably flawed,” and acting like it isn’t doesn’t mean that it’s not; it just means that you’re good at lying. 

Other than tweets, skeets, threads, TikToks, and TV appearances, Democrats seem like nothing more than regular Americans who are annoyed by the president’s actions but powerless against him. They complain on X about the actions he’s taken or the threats that he’s made, but they have no plan and no end goal. Hell, they don’t even seem to have a leader.

Remember when Trump held a fake State of the Union and Rep. Al Green (D-Texas) stood up and spoke truth to power? 

Green, 77, jumped out of his seat with his cane in hand and began shouting at the president, “You have no mandate!” Green was escorted out of the House Chamber, and it was the first time since Donald Trump took office that a Democrat did something like fighting back. 

It was the first time since Trump’s second term started that a Democrat looked the bully in the face and said, “I’m not letting you punk me.” It was a bold and defiant act against a president who lost his way long before he took office, and it was a moment of sanity disguised as disobedience because this administration is insane.

Days later, what did Democrats do? Well, 10 of them voted to censure Green. 

That’s right; every House Republican and 10 Democrats voted to publicly reprimand the one person who stood up and said something to the man who has used the Constitution as toilet paper. The censuring of Green is probably the most defiant act that Democrats have taken since Trump took office, and it’s not only embarrassing; it’s despairing. 

I don’t know if there is a pathway out of this hell that white women (they have continuously sold out America to uphold white supremacy and the patriarchy) have put us in. That isn’t my job. I didn’t run for office, nor would I want to. But I do know that those who did make a promise to uphold the laws of the land. 

I didn’t think they needed to be told that if the call is coming from inside the house, you might want to get the hell off of TikTok and X and actually do something. People are losing their jobs, their families, and their hope, and Democrats can’t seem to stop fighting amongst themselves to take on the actual enemy. 

I’m a betting man. I always have been, and if you asked me to push in all my chips on Democrats being able to right this ship and get America back on the right track, well that would be the moment in the night that I would thank you for inviting me out, and I would gather my things to go home.

If I had to bet on something, I’d bet on Donald Trump succeeding in whatever the long-term play of Project 2025 is because Democrats aren’t doing anything to stop him; in fact, some of them may be in on it.
