The State of Georgia has agreed to return jewelry seized from rapper Young Thug after his 2022 RICO indictment.
As reported by FOX 5 Atlanta, Fulton Co. Superior Court Judge Paige Whitaker issued a consent order on February 21, authorizing the return of several jewels to Rafaello & Company Inc., doing business as A+A Diamonds Ltd.
Among the items to be returned is a Rolex Datejust watch with “King Slime” engraved on the back. Also being returned:
Thugger, real name Jeffrey Williams, petitioned the state to return the jewelry, along with over $149K in cash, several luxury cars, and several Glock firearms.
A hearing was scheduled for last week to discuss the petition, but it was canceled without explanation.
The return of these luxury items comes after Thug was sentenced to probation and time served following his guilty plea in the YSL RICO case in October 2024, the longest criminal trial in state history.
Judge Whitaker placed a long list of restrictions before Thug’s release. Initially, the rapper was banned from metro Atlanta for 10 years with few exceptions. However, Thug successfully negotiated a compromise that will allow him to visit his Atlanta home starting in 2027, provided he stays out of trouble.
He is also allowed to pass through Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport while traveling for shows. His next performance is set to take place in Belgium in July.
